Ivanovic not interested in Napoli switch, says agent
Serbian defender's representative moves to dispell rumours that his client may look for a move to San Paolo and insists that the club are not looking to sell the right-back
The agent of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has quashed rumours of a move to Napoli, insisting his client is happy to stay at Stamford Bridge. The Serbian has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid and Juventus but Vlado Boroza has instsed he doesn't want to leave the club and the Blues are not looking to sell him.
When asked about the rumored switch, Boroza told Radio CRC: "Ivanovic to Napoli? It's only a rumour because my client has renewed his contract with Chelsea at a figure that would not meet the financial fair play of Napoli.
"Ivanovic has three years left in his contract and I don't believe the basis is there to start a negotiation with Napoli.
"First of all, Chelsea does not want to part with the player and Ivanovic does not want to leave the club."
Ivanovic made 49 appearances for Chelsea last season but missed their Champions League final triumph against Bayern Munich through suspension.
